Nice quiet, peaceful last day in BsAs.
Went and watched an Argentinian film - La Llamada, in a beautiful old theatre that is run by the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual (I think) - INCAA.
It was a real 75 mm screen and a huge hall, like in the old days!!! And we paid under a peso for 2 people! Also Pamela had given me her membership card, so we had a huge discount, but still!!
All packed and not ready to go!
Trying to sleep, but that ain't happening either - so here are some pictures from today!
I hope I get to see the Panama Canal from the air tomorrow - Im flying via Panama to Medellin! :-) Most convenient connection!
I feel like I might weep buckets tomorrow - All my goodbyes have been so teary! Im such a sentimental traveler in general - but more so on this trip! It's terrible! Aren't travelers meant to be detached and unsentimental? Aren't they meant to move on easily and not hang on to romanticised ideas of every place they visit? To not get attached to people? To places? To things?
It's difficult, very difficult, for me at least! I want to take everything and everyone back home with me from all my travels! I've been good on this one though! Apart from maybe falling in love with the city and the people :-)
Arrggghhhhh - can't shake of this feeling of I don't know what!!! Longing, heartache, happiness, fear - it's all too complicated! I really don't want to leave! I've never had such a problem leaving any place before!!! It's totally ridiculous!!!
Im going to force myself to go to sleep!!! Chau from BsAs!!! xxx
